Roseville Pottery Blackberry Jardiniere, Rare Raised Mark, 6"
Updated 12/6/2025 10:15AM: A user wrote in with information indicating that this may be a reproduction or coy.
This early Roseville Pottery “Blackberry” pattern jardiniere features richly molded leaves and berry clusters in soft greens, russet tones, and deep plum against a blue-green matte ground. The piece displays the organic modeling and hand-applied glazing associated with Roseville’s 1910s–1920s production. Of special note is the unusual raised “Roseville” script mark on the base—a less commonly seen mold variant that appears on some early-period examples.
A compact and highly decorative form, this jardiniere offers strong Arts & Crafts appeal and would make a desirable addition for collectors seeking early or uncommon Roseville pieces.
CONDITION
In good condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs noted. Light surface wear and minor glaze rubbing from age are present but do not detract from display. Molded decoration remains crisp, and colors appear well retained.
DIMENSIONS
With handles: 6 in x 5½ in diameter.
