The Doors “Waiting for the Sun” LP – Early Elektra EKS-74024 Stereo
This listing features an early U.S. Elektra EKS-74024 Stereo pressing of The Doors’ 1968 album Waiting for the Sun. Issued during the band’s peak period, this edition carries the classic tan Elektra label and includes the matching Elektra logo inner sleeve, consistent with late-1960s pressings. The jacket displays the iconic Paul Ferrara and Guy Webster photography, with the familiar silhouetted reverse design and full-band portrait on the front.
The album includes several of The Doors’ essential recordings: “Hello, I Love You,” “Spanish Caravan,” “Five to One,” “Love Street,” and “The Unknown Soldier.” A strong collectible example from the band’s only Billboard #1 album and a cornerstone of late-1960s rock history.
CONDITION
In Good condition, with light scratches to the album and light wear to the cover as noted. The vinyl shows typical surface marks for age, and the jacket exhibits mild rubbing and edge wear. The original Elektra inner sleeve is present with light creasing.
DIMENSIONS
Standard 12-inch LP record.
