Set of 3 Antique Solid Oak Courthouse Chairs with Contoured Seats
This set of three antique solid oak courthouse chairs features classic early 20th-century American institutional design, crafted with contoured seats, vertical slat backs, and sturdy squared legs. The substantial steam-bent side supports and dowel-plug joinery reflect the durable construction typical of courthouse and municipal furnishings from the era. Their warm oak finish and functional, architectural character make them ideal for décor, daily seating, or use in a vintage office or library setting.
Unmarked but consistent with contract furniture of the period, these chairs remain strong and ready for continued use. A versatile and appealing group that blends form, history, and utility.
CONDITION
In good condition overall with finish wear, loss, and staining appropriate for age and use. Feet show surface abrasion. One chair has an old repair on the side support, visible as a vertical crack through a dowel plug, as shown. All chairs remain sturdy.
