This substantial King Tut silver coin is part of the acclaimed Egyptian Relic Series (ERS) produced by Scottsdale Mint for the Republic of Chad. Struck in 5 troy ounces of .999 fine silver, the piece features an antiqued, high-relief design intended to resemble an ancient carved relic. The obverse depicts Tutankhamun in traditional Egyptian profile with ceremonial regalia, while the reverse displays the Republic of Chad coat of arms, denomination 5,000 Francs CFA, and the date 2016.
Issued as the inaugural King Tut release in the Egyptian Relic Series, this coin is known for its thick, rimless format and intentionally rugged surface, enhancing its archaeological aesthetic.
