Vintage Uranium Glass Citrus Juicer — Depression Era Reamer
A classic Depression-era uranium glass citrus juicer, produced circa 1930s–1940s. Molded in brilliant green uranium glass, this unmarked reamer features a raised ridged cone surrounded by a deep circular well and dual spouts for pouring. Under UV light, it fluoresces brightly, showing the vivid green glow prized by uranium glass collectors.
Typical of American pressed glassware from this era, similar examples were produced by Hazel Atlas, Federal, and Jeannette Glass. The clean, utilitarian design embodies the elegance of early 20th-century kitchenware—both decorative and functional. Its compact size makes it an appealing addition to any uranium glass display or Depression glass collection.
Condition:
Good condition overall, with light scuffing and minor chips around the rim, consistent with age and use. No major cracks or repairs observed. Some small bubbles and mold seams present from original production, typical of pressed glass of the 1930s–1940s period.
