Description

Pair of Mid-Century Iron Tables with Removable Chile Tile Mosaic Tops

Pair of mid-century accent tables featuring removable tile mosaic tops with vivid red and green chile pepper motifs framed by geometric beige and brown tesserae. The handcrafted design rests on sleek, black-painted iron bases with angular crisscross supports, typical of 1950s–1960s modernist construction. Each piece balances artistic folk charm with functional simplicity, suitable for indoor or covered patio display.

Distinctive and versatile, these tables capture a warm Southwestern aesthetic—ideal as side tables, accent stands, or plant stands. The colorful chile imagery adds a playful and authentic artisan touch.

Condition:

Good overall condition. Both tables are sturdy and stable, with surface wear and patina consistent with outdoor use. Minor edge chips, grout darkening, and faint hairline cracks at corners are visible but stable. Iron bases retain their form with some paint loss and light oxidation, contributing to their vintage appeal.

Dimensions:

  • Table 1: 21 ½" H × 13" W × 13" D
  • Table 2: 23 ½" H × 15 ½" W × 15 ½" D
  • Tile Top Thickness: 1 ½"
