ERTL International Harvester “Pay Hauler” Pressed-Steel Dump Truck
All-original ERTL International Harvester “Pay Hauler” hydraulic dump truck, stock #425, ca. 1970s. Heavy pressed-steel cab/chassis and ribbed box in IH yellow with factory IH side decal and “PAY HAULER” stencil. Working lever-actuated bed with metal hydraulic-style ram; rubber wheels molded “Ertl.” Chassis maker-marked ERTL CO., DYERSVILLE, IOWA, U.S.A. At ~1:25 scale and 12 inches long, this popular ERTL construction piece echoes IH’s big PayHauler off-highway trucks of the era. A classic, displayable example for pressed-steel, farm, or construction toy collections
Condition:
Fully functional, tested. Finish wear/loss throughout with scattered chips and rubs at edges and on cab/box, minor decal wear, and light oxidation to hardware—age-appropriate. Hydraulics/bed lift operate smoothly. See photos.
