A Zenith H724Z1 AM/FM tube radio, featuring the desirable chassis 8T01, produced circa 1951–1952 by Zenith Radio Corporation of Chicago, Illinois. This seven-tube superheterodyne receiver was among Zenith’s early FM-equipped home models, known for its warm tube tone and dependable performance.
The cabinet, crafted in cream Bakelite, presents classic mid-century styling with a circular gold-tone grille and dial, accented by the Zenith crown emblem and deep burgundy control knobs.
