G. Snidow “Ain’t No City Beer” Framed Western Print, 1976
Framed print on paper titled “Ain’t No City Beer” by Gordon E. Snidow (b. 1938, New Mexico, Missouri), a noted American Western artist celebrated for his depictions of modern cowboy life. This piece features a relaxed cowboy holding a Coors beer, rendered in Snidow’s signature realistic style that bridges commercial art and fine Western illustration. The artist’s printed signature, “G. Snidow ©76,” appears lower left.
Presented in a solid oak frame and protected behind glass, this vintage print embodies the rugged authenticity and humor characteristic of Snidow’s 1970s work, created in conjunction with Coors Brewing Company. A nostalgic addition for collectors of Western Americana or vintage advertising art.
Condition
In good condition overall, with artwork clean and colors well-preserved. The print sits a little loose within the frame, as shown in photos, but remains stable and ready to display. Glass and frame show only minor age-appropriate wear.
