French Provincial Credenza, Stone Top, Brass Inlay & Iron Base
Elegant French Provincial style credenza featuring a stone-clad top with brass inlay and an ornate wrought-iron base accented by gilt foliate motifs. The painted case, in a warm cream tone with carved detailing, offers ample storage: two central cabinet doors conceal three dovetail drawers, flanked by three dovetail drawers on each side for a total of nine drawers. Original brass hardware enhances the refined, classical aesthetic typical of fine mid-20th-century French revival design.
The blend of stone, iron, and brass detailing evokes the craftsmanship of makers such as Henredon or Maitland-Smith, known for elegant, durable furnishings.
