Distinctive Crawford Furniture Manufacturing Corp. armoire, made in Jamestown, New York, a region long celebrated for fine American wood craftsmanship. This example features a custom artisan teal finish with copper-accented inset panels, paired with sculptural human hand–shaped handles. The warm cherry-stained interior houses four total shelves—three removable and adjustable—plus a built-in power strip and rear cable cutouts, originally designed for use as a media or entertainment cabinet.
Crawford Furniture was a respected American maker active through the late 20th century, known for solid wood construction and handcrafted finishes. Following decades of operation, the company ceased production in the early 2010s, making surviving examples like this increasingly collectible. A versatile and artistic storage piece, it reflects the legacy of Jamestown’s historic furniture industry while offering bold, contemporary design appeal.
