James Belton Bonsall “Nude Female Figure” 1989 Watercolor — Matted & Framed
Original watercolor on paper by Louisiana artist James Belton Bonsall (1926–1999), dated 1989 and titled Nude Female Figure in Complex Pose. The composition portrays a reclining nude beside what appears to be a pool, rendered with Bonsall’s characteristic balance of warmth and restraint. The interplay of the cool turquoise background and bold blue-and-white tiles enhances the intimate, sun-lit atmosphere. Signed and dated “JB 89” at the lower right.

Medium: Watercolor on paper
Dimensions: Overall 14" × 18"; Visible 9" × 11"
Condition: Good overall, with minor frame and surface wear as shown. Colors remain vivid and paper well preserved under glass.
