Johnny Lightning Toy Fair ’97–’98 Promo Set — Limited Edition of 1000 (3 Cars)
This is a rare factory sealed promotional trio of Johnny Lightning die-cast cars issued exclusively for the International Toy Fairs by Playing Mantis in the late 1990s. Never sold at regular retail, each car was distributed only to show attendees and is marked “Limited Edition 1 of 1000” on the card.

Hong Kong Toy Fair ’97 — Orange 1970 Buick GSX
A classic GM muscle car casting with authentic Toy Fair graphics on the roof and custom wheels. -
Hong Kong Toy Fair ’98 — Red 1929 Ford Model A Crew Cab
Vintage truck body with striking bright red paint and “Toy Fair ’98” marked tires. -
New York Toy Fair ’98 — Blue Frankenstude
A unique custom Studebaker-based pro-street car, finished in vivid blue with Toy Fair tampo.
These promo editions are well documented in Johnny Lightning collector resources and seen in past collector listings as highlight pieces for JL/Toy Fair collections.

All three cards are factory sealed with blister packs intact, showing no creases, tears, or corner wear. Colors are bright and card fronts display crisp promo artwork.
