A finely handcrafted vintage Navajo ring, created in the last quarter of the 20th century, featuring a large natural turquoise cabochon (approx. 30.68 × 11.38 mm) bezel-set in sterling silver with rich 14K yellow gold overlay. The turquoise exhibits a striking sky-blue tone with subtle natural inclusions, framed by sculpted gold leaves, curling tendrils, and bead accents — a hallmark of classic Navajo organic design.
This mixed-metal construction demonstrates sophisticated artistry: the sterling silver forms the structural base and split shank, while the hand-applied 14K gold embellishments are soldered in layered relief, producing depth and fluid movement around the stone.
