1960s–70s Navajo Sterling Silver & Orvil Jack Turquoise Pendant
Navajo sterling silver pendant, dating to the 1960s–70s, featuring a bezel-set Orvil Jack turquoise cabochon. The stone measures exhibits the characteristic green tone and brown matrix associated with this Nevada mine. The pendant is hand-fabricated with a modernist floral form, incorporating flowing silver wirework and an oxidized background for contrast.
The piece includes a later-added wire bale for ease of wear. Tested sterling silver. Unsigned, consistent with many Navajo pieces from the period.
Condition:
Good condition with surface wear and patina consistent with age. Stone is secure in the bezel. Silver shows oxidation and tarnish from age; polishing has been left to the buyer.
