Paul Lawrence Photo — Abstract Grasses, Framed
Original color photograph by Paul Lawrence (American, b. 1941), featuring a luminous close-up study of intersecting grasses rendered in warm gold, amber, and deep brown tones. The composition emphasizes light, movement, and layered texture, creating a soft, painterly effect through selective focus. This intimate natural study reflects Lawrence’s expressive approach to landscape imagery and his philosophy of “Visual Jazz,” where rhythm and atmosphere take precedence over literal representation.
Presented in a faux wood frame, matted in white and protected behind glass, this piece offers a refined and versatile presentation suitable for a variety of interiors. A compelling example of Lawrence’s exploration of organic form and light.
