Description

Lynne L. Lewis “Rowhouses, UK” 1994 Signed Original Watercolor

Original watercolor painting by Lynne L. Lewis (American, late 20th century), titled “Rowhouses, UK.” Signed and dated 1994 at lower right, the work captures a row of brightly painted English terraced houses beneath a stormy sky, with a solitary figure adding depth and atmosphere. Lewis’s confident line work and vibrant use of color highlight her characteristic treatment of light and shadow within architectural settings.

Presented under glass in a white frame with lavender matting. Artist and framer labels remain affixed to the reverse, including Museum Quality Framing documentation dated 2020. A charming and skillfully rendered streetscape by a noted regional watercolorist.

Condition

Good overall. Artwork remains clean and vibrant with no visible fading or stains. Frame shows minor corner dings and light handling wear. Backing paper, labels, and hanging wire intact.
