Description

Joyce T. Macrorie — Grave Worries, Unique Etching 1/1, Signed

Expressive and contemplative, “Grave Worries” by Joyce T. Macrorie is a unique hand-pulled etching (edition 1/1) executed in rich brown-black ink on fine wove paper. The composition is a dynamic network of linear and gestural forms—suggestive of roots, branches, or abstract organic structures—conveying motion and quiet intensity. Macrorie’s refined use of intaglio technique, with delicate etched lines and selective plate wiping, produces atmospheric depth and texture that reward close viewing.

Signed and titled in pencil along the lower margin, this singular impression captures the artist’s sensitivity to both emotion and material. Presented under glass in a bronze-toned frame with a cream mat, ready for display.
