Signed by Cesar Bugarini, this Mata Ortiz pottery olla showcases traditional Casas Grandes design influences with a warm tan clay body and intricate hand-painted motifs in black and red. The upper section features stylized geometric and avian-inspired patterns, while the lower half is encircled by elongated feather or petal designs, lending graceful vertical balance to the rounded form. The surface is finely polished, reflecting the exceptional craftsmanship for which Bugarini’s work is recognized.
