Large Steel Reading Dragon Sculpture — Winged, Wire Glasses, 39"
A scholarly dragon rendered at commanding scale — winged, bespectacled, and thoroughly absorbed in whatever tome he's clutching in those fearsome clawed hands. This hand-fabricated hollow steel sculpture captures the creature mid-read: bat wings spread behind him, taloned feet dangling from a branch-form perch, horned head tipped forward behind a pair of wire-framed round glasses. Every element — ribbed wing membranes, flame-cut ear fins, layered scale panels, a toothed tail base — and the surface patina drifts from deep espresso brown to warm burnished gold.
CONDITION
Good. The sculpture retains strong visual impact with complex surface detail intact throughout. Several small areas of chipped paint and oxidation are present across the surface.
