Louët Mini Wool Combs (Single Row), maker marked and made in Holland, designed for preparing wool and other fibers before spinning. This pair features smooth lacquered ash wood handles with tightly spaced high-grade plated steel tines, engineered for durability and efficient fiber preparation. Louët has produced spinning and fiber-processing equipment for over 50 years and is widely respected among hand-spinners and textile artists.
Mini combs are used to de-hair, clean, and align fibers before spinning, producing smooth slivers suitable for worsted spinning or spinning directly from the comb. The compact size makes them comfortable to use for small fiber batches while remaining easy on the wrists. This set includes the original box and printed instructions, making it a complete example of Louët’s fiber preparation tools.
Condition:
Good condition with visible scuffs, small dings, and normal signs of use on the wooden blocks and handles. The steel tines appear straight and secure. Original box and documentation included. See Images
