Ashford Blending Board 12x12 Fiber Carding Tool w/ Box New Zealand
Ashford blending board for preparing and blending wool fibers, maker marked and manufactured by Ashford Handicrafts of New Zealand. This large 12 × 12 inch blending board features a dense field of fine metal teeth set into a flexible backing, mounted on a lacquered wooden board with an integrated carry handle. The Ashford spinning wheel logo mark is stamped on the wood.
Designed for hand spinners and fiber artists, blending boards are used to mix different fibers or colors and create rolags for spinning or felting projects. This example comes with its original box and printed instructions, making it a great addition to a spinning or weaving studio.
A practical tool from a respected maker of spinning equipment and fiber preparation tools.
Condition:
Good condition with signs of normal use. The carding teeth remain intact and secure, and the wooden frame shows minor handling wear. Two original dowels are absent. No remarkable damage observed. Original box and documentation included.
