Stanley Furniture Costa Mesa Armoire — 9 Dovetail Drawers, Built-In Outlets, Felt Liners

This substantial Stanley Furniture armoire is built in a warm honey-walnut distressed finish with architectural-scale proportions throughout. The case is crowned by a deep stepped cornice and stands on a molded plinth base with bracket feet. Two large doors, each faced with three nested raised panels and fitted with cast iron scroll pull handles, open to reveal a spacious upper cabinet with a dedicated TV opening and a built-in Furnlite 3-outlet power strip mounted inside for electronics. The lower half houses nine dovetail drawers across three tiers: a top row of five smaller drawers with round knob pulls and a central horseshoe ring pull, a middle row of two wider drawers, and a bottom row of two full-width drawers fitted with rope-twist bail pulls. The top five drawers are felt-lined. A UL listing label on the back identifies this as Stanley Furniture Co., Inc., Stanleytown, VA, Model #0001, rated 120V / 60Hz / Maximum 10 Amps.

CONDITION Good. The exterior finish presents with rich, even color and all nine drawers operate smoothly with all hardware intact. The upper cabinet backing is torn, and the right door carries a slight warp; light distress marks and minor scuffs appear on the case consistent with age and use.
