Maitland-Smith Drum Cabinet Side Table — Walnut, Patinated Metal Top

A drum-form cabinet side table in distressed walnut, attributed to Maitland-Smith, featuring stave-paneled sides on a molded circular plinth. The recessed top is inset with a patinated metal panel in a mottled antiqued finish, framed by a rope-twist carved molding running the full circumference below the rim. Two curved doors open on brass hinges with turned finial posts and paired ornate brass escutcheon pulls.

The interior is divided into two tiers by a single fixed circular shelf.

CONDITION Good. No remarkable damage; doors hang and operate correctly and all hardware retains strong detail. Minor scuffing to door panels consistent with the piece's heavily distressed finish.
