BH Sun Hand-Knotted Persian Overdyed Wool Rug 4'2"x5'10" — Teal, Carpet Pad
Hand-knotted wool area rug by BH Sun Inc (Q7858-4018), built on a traditional Persian base and overdyed through a multi-step bleaching, coloring, and drying process to achieve a hyperpigmented teal and turquoise field. The underlying Persian design surfaces in broken fields of gold and chartreuse across the full pile, with scattered burgundy accent nodes throughout. Knotted at 12×10 knots per inch with ivory cotton fringe along both short ends. Original retail: $3,500.
A carpet pad is included with the lot.
CONDITION
Good — pile is full and intact with strong color saturation throughout. Light signs of use present; no odors or stains detected. Uneven dye absorption in several areas produces lighter patches consistent with the overdyed process.
