VMC 33 Coca-Cola Bottle Vending Machine — Vendorlator, Restored, Functional

Drop a nickel in, push the handle, and a cold Coca-Cola drops into your hand — exactly as it did in the early 1950s when Vendorlator Manufacturing Co. of Fresno, California first shipped this machine. The VMC Model 33 is the most iconic Coca-Cola bottle vendor of the postwar era, built around a 33-bottle single-flavor carousel designed for 6.5–8 oz. glass bottles. This example has been fully mechanically and cosmetically restored: the refrigeration system cools, the 5¢ coin mechanism accepts nickels and vends correctly, and the machine has been tested operational. The exterior wears a period-correct red repaint with hand-painted "Drink Coca-Cola," "Here's a Coke for You," and "In Bottles" lettering — the correct finish for the Coca-Cola contract version, which was never embossed. The VMC diamond badge is present on the front.

The lot includes the original key, twelve glass Coca-Cola bottles already loaded in the drum and the original key. Plug it in. It's ready.

CONDITION

Very Good — fully functional and tested; refrigeration cools and the mechanism vends correctly. The exterior repaint is clean and even with crisp lettering throughout. Minor scuffs and a couple of small dings on the cabinet consistent with normal use.
