A large hand-fabricated iron wall panel in the Sonoran Desert folk art from Mexico. The rectangular frame is hand-bent iron with scrollwork corners and diagonal brace detailing.
Silhouettes of a diving eagle, two running roadrunners, a barrel cactus, a bull skull at its base, and a sun with radiating wavy rays. Engraved feather and plumage detail is cut into both the eagle and roadrunner figures.
CONDITION
Good. Frame and all figural elements are intact with no missing components or structural breaks. Shows signs of outdoor display.
