King Koin 10¢ Bulk Candy Vending Machine, 1960s USA — Tested, Key Included
A 1960s American-made King Koin countertop candy vending machine, part of the King Koin / Komet lineage that is actively collected among vintage coin-op enthusiasts.
The large rectangular acrylic globe retains its original crown-and-banner "King Koin 10¢" decal. The lower body is finished in orange-red enamel with black-painted metal cap and base. The front mechanism panel is cast aluminum with a diamond-pattern texture, chrome coin entry, and a chrome-stamped "Thank You / King Koin" dispensing flap. The mechanism is maker-marked and rated to dispense items up to 1½" in diameter.
The lot includes the original key.
CONDITION Fair. Mechanism is fully functional and tested — accepts 10¢ coins and dispenses correctly. The acrylic globe shows age toning, heavy surface scratching, and an impact star crack at the upper front corner; the black-painted cap and base have moderate paint loss consistent with decades of route use.
