Ice Queen Antique Oak Ice Box 1930s — Brass Hardware, 3-Door, Paneled Back
An Ice Queen oak ice box from the 1930s, constructed with deeply grained oak and raised panel door fronts throughout. The front presents three panel doors secured by brass rotating latch handles and brass hinges; one door conceals the tin-lined ice compartment, while the remaining two open to the main storage chamber fitted with three removable wire shelves. The exterior sides and paneled back retain their original tongue-and-groove construction. The piece has undergone past restoration, with the interior cream finish and brass hardware reflecting that work.
CONDITION
Good. Age-appropriate wear throughout, consistent with use and restoration history, including dings, chips, and scuffs on the exterior surfaces. The back panels show heavier finish wear with areas of paint loss across the horizontal boards.
