Antique-Style Wrought Iron Daybed — Scroll & Heart, Ball Finials, Mattress
This antique-style wrought iron daybed features an open three-sided configuration with a prominent heart-and-scroll motif along the back rail, repeating scroll panels on the side sections, and ball finials capping each corner post. The turned, tapered legs carry ring-and-bobbin profiles in the Victorian tradition. The frame is finished in a dark brown patinated surface throughout, and a wire grid support base sits beneath the mattress platform.
The lot includes the iron daybed frame and a cream tufted mattress.
CONDITION Good. The iron frame is sturdy with no remarkable damage; light surface oxidation and minor pitting are consistent with age and use. The tufted mattress shows soiling and fabric wear across the surface.
