1963 Pepsi Wooden Crate 24 Bottle Sturdy-Bilt Jonesboro AR
Authentic vintage Pepsi-Cola wooden bottle crate, manufactured by Southern Wooden Box, Inc., Jonesboro, Arkansas and factory-stamped “Sturdy-Bilt” with a June 1963 date. This classic mid-century carrier features bold red “PEPSI” lettering along the sides, with “Drink Pepsi” and “24 Bottles” markings on the ends, reflecting its original use in soda distribution.
Constructed from solid wood with metal-reinforced corners and cutout handles, the crate is divided into four sections designed to hold 24 glass bottles. The naturally aged patina, worn stenciling, and honest wear give it strong character—ideal for farmhouse décor, storage, or as a standout piece of vintage advertising memorabilia. A genuine, dated example with desirable maker attribution that collectors appreciate.
Condition:
In fair vintage condition with visible finish wear and paint loss consistent with age and use. The wood shows chips, scuffs, and surface wear, and the interior has staining from prior use. Structurally sound and fully functional with intact dividers and solid handles. Metal corner brackets show oxidation. Please review photos closely for details.
Dimensions:
Overall: 4 x 18 x 12 inches
Interior Sections (each): 3 x 7.5 x 5.5 inches
