(5) Vintage Coca-Cola Tray Lot – Baseball, Blacksmith, Circus Scenes
A vibrant and nostalgic set of five Coca-Cola metal serving trays, officially licensed and produced by The Ohio Art Company between 1987 and 1991. Each tray showcases classic Americana advertising art, faithfully reproduced from early Coca-Cola campaigns, framed by bold red borders and the iconic Coca-Cola script.
This charming collection includes:
(2) “Baseball” Trays (1989): Depicting a lively early ballpark scene, inspired by a 1907 Coca-Cola advertisement celebrating America’s pastime.
(2) “Village Blacksmith” Trays (1987): Based on a 1933 Coca-Cola calendar illustration after Frederic Stanley, featuring a warm, storytelling moment between a blacksmith and a young boy.
(1) “Circus Has Come to Town” Tray (1991): A colorful 1920s-inspired parade scene capturing the excitement of a small-town circus day.
Crafted from lightweight metal with a glossy finish, these trays are equally suited for display or practical use. Their rich imagery and cohesive presentation make this a standout grouping for Coca-Cola collectors or lovers of vintage advertising.
Condition:
Good overall condition with wear consistent with age and use. One “Village Blacksmith” tray shows noticeable finish wear and discoloration on the verso as shown. The remaining trays exhibit light surface wear such as minor scuffs and scratches, while retaining bright, appealing graphics.
Dimensions:
Each tray measures approximately 1 x 10 1/2 x 13 inches
