Handwoven Tarahumara basket from Copper Canyon, Mexico, dated 2006 per accompanying note. This finely crafted vessel-form basket features a tightly executed geometric weave in natural, tan, dark brown, and cream tones. The flared rim, rounded body, and intricate pattern transitions highlight traditional techniques associated with the Tarahumara (Rarámuri) people.
A beautiful example of Indigenous Mexican basketry, ideal for display or as part of a curated folk art collection. Its compact size and detailed craftsmanship make it both decorative and collectible.
Condition:
