Glass Quart Oil Bottle, Finzio's Sinclair Passaic NJ — Master Spout 1926

A vintage clear glass quart motor oil bottle fitted with an aftermarket Finzio's Sinclair dealer label — Towing & Repairs, Passaic, New Jersey — printed in Sinclair's signature green on white. The Duraglas bottle (Owens-Illinois, model BW-1228) is embossed "ONE LIQUID QUART" and "FILL TO LINE," with a Massachusetts weights-and-measures seal on the shoulder and multi-state commercial approval marks on the lower body — Minnesota, Pennsylvania, and North Carolina — all standard on service station dispensing bottles of the 1950s–60s era. The cast iron pouring spout is embossed by The Master Mfg. Co. of Litchfield, Illinois, patent date September 14, 1926 — a maker well-represented in petroliana collections and in The Henry Ford Museum.

CONDITION Good — the glass is structurally sound and clear, with light interior residue consistent with age and use. The Master iron spout shows dents, dings, and wear to the finish across its surface; the cork gasket ring shows age deterioration. The Finzio's Sinclair label is an aftermarket reproduction applied to the bottle.
