Steer Skull & Horns — Wall-Ready, Rope-Wrapped
Few wall pieces command a room the way a skull like this does. The horns sweep wide and curl skyward in the dramatic arc of Criollo cattle — descendants of the Iberian stock the Conquistadores brought to Mexico in the 16th and 17th centuries — their bases wrapped in tight coils of natural jute rope, a finishing touch rooted in Mexican ranch tradition. The bone has aged to a clean chalk-white, and the horns graduate from heavily ridged, textured bases to smooth, tapering tips with the kind of character that no resin reproduction ever captures. Hand-lettered in black ink on the underside: "MEXICO" — a provenance mark that tells you exactly where this came from. A wire loop at the back means it goes straight to the wall, no hardware needed.
CONDITION
Good. Honest patina of an authentic specimen. Weathered.
