ICET Arte Murano Art Glass Fish Figurines 3-Piece Lot
Three hand-blown art glass fish figurines, two bearing ICET Arte Murano marks on polished bases. ICET Arte Murano was founded in 1957 by Italian émigré Bruno Ava in Venezuela — one of the few operations in the Western Hemisphere producing glasswork in the authentic Murano tradition with raw materials imported from Italy. Both signed pieces are compact, heavily weighted angelfish forms worked in the bullicante method, with controlled air bubbles suspended throughout the body. One presents in cobalt blue and deep crimson with an applied dark red ventral form and red glass eye; the other pairs honey amber with cobalt blue fins and an applied cobalt eye. The third piece is a flatter tropical fish form with white ribbed crystal fins and a boldly striped body — blue, red-orange, and black glass rods worked internally and cased in clear crystal. All three have polished bases.
CONDITION
Good. All three pieces are free of chips and cracks. Light surface wear is present consistent with shelf display; no damage to note.
