A large-format hand-tufted wool area rug from Momeni's discontinued New Wave Collection — one of the brand's most acclaimed lines, officially inspired by Vienna Secession geometry, 1930s Art Deco, and 1950s Abstract Expressionism. The NW-33 Black colorway arranges spiraling coils, concentric squares, bisected eye-forms, and stylized triangles in vertical registers across a deep charcoal-black ground. Amber, caramel, and burnt sienna anchor the border fields; the central corridor runs multicolor striped bands in coral, purple, sage green, gold, and red. Hand-carved relief between motifs gives the dense wool pile a sculptural, dimensional surface that reads as well in photographs as it does underfoot. Pile height is 0.45" — medium profile, with the tactile depth of hand-knotted construction achieved through hand-tufting. The canvas backing carries the original Momeni content and care label.

Good. The pile face shows no staining, matting, or visible color loss — colors remain vivid and the hand-carved relief is well-defined throughout.
