Pair of Kent Coffey “The LaFayette” nightstands, a mid-century American take on French Provincial design from the 1960s–1970s. Crafted in a warm cherry-toned finish, each features a serpentine drawer with original ornate brass hardware above double cabinet doors with decorative fretwork panels. Cabriole-style legs and gently scalloped aprons complete the elegant silhouette, consistent with the LaFayette line’s classic styling.
Maker marked inside the drawer. Each nightstand offers practical bedside storage with both drawer and cabinet space, making them as functional as they are decorative. A desirable matched pair, ideal for traditional, vintage, or French country interiors.
Condition:
In good vintage condition with visible wear from use. Tops show scratches and finish wear, and there are scuffs and surface marks along the sides and edges. Structurally solid with drawers and cabinet doors functioning properly. Presents well overall with age-appropriate character.
