Antique Hammered Copper Bowl & Sternau NY Handled Pan
Attractive antique copper grouping featuring a hammered copper bowl and a handled copper pan marked by S. Sternau, New York. The bowl presents a wide, flared rim with subtle concentric bands and a hand-worked finish, giving it a classic utilitarian character. The accompanying pan includes a tin-lined interior and dual side handles with dark wooden grips, combining function with rustic appeal. The Sternau maker’s mark on the pan base adds a desirable collectible element, while the unmarked bowl complements the set with similar craftsmanship and form.
Likely dating to the late 19th or early 20th century, these pieces reflect traditional American kitchenware and make an appealing display or decorative accent.
Condition:
Good antique condition with visible wear consistent with age and use, including scratches, dents, oxidation, and patina throughout. The bowl does not sit flat. The pan’s handles are loose but remain attached. Interior lining shows wear from use. Please review photos carefully.

Bowl: 5 x 14.5 inches diameter, approx. 2 lbs
Pan: 3.75 inches high with handles (2.5 without) x 12 inches wide with handles x 9 inches diameter, approx. 1 lb
