Vintage Zuni Sun Face Inlay Ring — Sterling, MOP, Coral & Onyx
This vintage Zuni ring presents the Sun Face — Yatokka Taccu, the Sun Father — in bold channel inlay of mother of pearl, coral, and onyx set in sterling silver. The design is as graphic as it is culturally grounded: a luminous MOP face with a single circular eye, coral dome, and scalloped chin, crowned by a fan headdress of alternating MOP and onyx, with four pendant rain drops hanging below.
CONDITION
Good. All stones are secure in their settings with no losses. Mother of pearl retains its luster; coral and onyx are undamaged. The shank and back of the face show age-appropriate tarnish and surface patina. Polishing left to the buyer.
