Vintage Green-Painted Wood Tool Caddy & Tray — Leather Handle, 2-Piece Set

Two pieces, one coherent set — both built from solid softwood planks with 1"-thick sides and bottom, and both finished in the same teal-green paint that has spent decades earning its patina. The tool caddy is the workhorse: a sturdy three-compartment carrier with an arched leather strap handle, riveted through the short ends. The strap carries a pronounced alligator-craze texture — all original surface. The companion piece is a wide, shallow open tray built to the same standard, sized for flat stock, long-handled tools, or shop overflow. Paint on both pieces shows full history: teal over a yellowed primer, chipping back to bare wood at the edges and corners.

Lot includes both the divided caddy with leather handle and the open tray.

CONDITION

Good — original, unrestored condition throughout; both pieces structurally sound. Paint chips to exterior wood on edges, corners, and rail tops consistent with age and working use. Leather handle shows wear and surface crazing across its length; intact and functional.
