Folk Art Walking Stick, Knotty Hardwood with Steel-Capped Ferrule
Hand-hewn walking stick worked from a single length of knotty hardwood, retaining its naturally undulating profile and burnt-in scorch shading that highlights the burls and knots along the shaft. The bulbous knob handle is sized for the palm, and the foot terminates in a steel ferrule cap for trail use. Unmarked, with the irregular character typical of an owner-made or itinerant folk piece.
CONDITION
Good condition overall with a stable, well-finished surface and tight ferrule. Light scuffs and minor handling wear consistent with use; a few shallow checks visible at the knots.
