Ebonized Walking Stick with Inlaid Banding & Engraved Brass Cap
Slim gentleman's walking stick with an ebonized wood shaft, terminating in a tapered knob handle dressed with a decorative collar. The collar combines a bone or composite band incised with arcaded and stylized foliate motifs in black against cream, set above a cross-hatched gilt brass ferrule. The crown of the handle is finished with an engraved brass cap centered on a steel pin, and the tip is sheathed in a matching brass ferrule.
The lower shaft carries tooled, lizard-pattern leather wrapping that transitions into the smooth lacquered cane. M
CONDITION
Good overall with light finish wear throughout. Scattered scuffs and minor losses to the black lacquer along the shaft, light tarnish to the brass collar and ferrules, and minor soiling to the cream inlay band. Structurally sound and straight.
