Hand-Hewn Hardwood Walking Staff with Natural Knot Figuring, 53"
A solid hardwood walking staff shaped from a single sapling, retaining its organic taper and a pleasing serpentine line from grip to tip. The surface shows dark burl spots and pale healed-knot inclusions against a warm honeyed finish, with a smooth sealed patina that highlights the natural grain.
Unmarked. The shaft is pre-drilled near the upper grip for the addition of a wrist strap or lanyard.
CONDITION
Excellent, as shown. Finish is intact and uniform across the length, with no splits or losses observed. Pre-drilled hole near the grip is clean and original to the maker's preparation.
