Peruvian Tropical Butterfly Specimen Display, 14 Mounted Examples Under Glass
Double-glazed wall-mountable specimen frame holding fourteen tropical butterflies arranged for full dorsal view. The composition is anchored by a large iridescent blue Morpho and surrounded by a varied selection including a black-and-yellow swallowtail, an orange-banded heliconid, an "88" Diaethria, sulphurs, and several pierids. The black-lacquered wood frame carries a "Made in Peru" label on the reverse and a triangular hanger at the top.
Front and back glass panels allow the specimens to be viewed from either side, suitable for display on a wall or a stand.
CONDITION
Very Good. Specimens are intact with vivid color retention, including strong iridescence on the Morpho. Light wear and minor finish abrasion to the black lacquered frame edges as shown in the supplemental images.
