Framed Peruvian Butterfly Specimen Display, 14 Mounted Examples
Double-glazed wood frame holding fourteen pinned butterfly specimens arranged in a balanced display, anchored by a large pale Morpho with iridescent wash at center top and a brown-and-cream swallowtail mid-frame. Surrounding examples include a brilliant blue hairstreak, an emerald-banded specimen, a sulfur yellow, and several boldly patterned tropical species in orange, black, and white. Glass on both front and back allows viewing of dorsal and ventral wing surfaces, and the frame is fitted with a triangle hanger for wall mounting.
Underside bears a "Made in Peru" label.
CONDITION
Very Good. Specimens are intact and well-mounted with strong color retention; glazing on both sides is clean. Light handling wear to the wood frame edges.
