Peruvian Framed Butterfly Specimen Display, 14 Mounted Examples
A double-glazed shadowbox display featuring fourteen mounted butterfly specimens arranged in a free-flying composition against a white ground. The grouping is anchored by a large iridescent blue morpho, joined by a sulphur yellow, a banded "88" Diaethria, an emerald-banded swallowtail, and a range of black, orange, and white tropical species. The black lacquered wood frame is glazed front and back for two-sided viewing and is wall-mountable, with a "Made in Peru" label affixed to the side.
CONDITION
Very Good. Specimens are intact with strong color and full wing structure. Some loose debris is visible behind the glass, and the frame shows minor scuffing along the lacquered edges.
