Trek MT220 Youth 24" Mountain Bike, 21-Speed Alpha Aluminum — Project

Trek MT220 youth mountain bike with Alpha Silver Aluminum hardtail frame finished in orange with cream and black graphics. The MT220 was Trek's entry-level 24" wheel youth mountain bike, produced through the late 2000s and 2010s and aimed at riders roughly 8–12 years old transitioning to geared bikes. Component group includes an SR Suntour SR2025 coil suspension fork, SRAM MRX Comp twist grip shifters (3×7), Shimano Tourney rear derailleur, Shimano SIS 42T front derailleur, triple chainring crankset, linear-pull rim brakes, and Bontrager 24" knobby tires on alloy rims. Frame designed in Waterloo, Wisconsin and manufactured in China.

Sold as a project bike — will require service and parts replacement to be roadworthy.

CONDITION

Fair condition with cosmetic and mechanical wear consistent with regular outdoor use. Scratches, paint chipping, and scuffing throughout the frame; rust and oxidation visible on the chain, cassette, hardware, and seat post. Partially functional — tires need service and the torn saddle requires replacement. Will need to be worked on to be usable.
