Mongoose XR-75 Dual Suspension 21-Speed 26" Mountain Bike

Mongoose XR-75 full-suspension mountain bike with a red, silver, and black aluminum frame featuring "Dual Suspension Technology" and "21 Speed" graphics. Front end rides on an Element Racing suspension fork with rubber boot covers; the rear uses a coil-over shock mounted through a CNC-machined aluminum rocker linkage. Drivetrain is Shimano-equipped with a triple chainring crankset, rear derailleur, and freewheel cassette, paired with SRAM MRX Comp GripShift twist shifters and matching SRAM grips at the bars.

Rolling on 26" knobby Mongoose-branded tires over silver alloy rims with steel spokes. Stopping is handled by linear-pull (V-brake) calipers front and rear, and the bike retains its original padded Bontrager-style saddle, kickstand, pedals, and spoke reflectors. The XR-75 was Mongoose's mid-2000s big-box dual-suspension model, sold widely through mass retailers as an entry-level full-suspension hardtail alternative.

CONDITION

Fair condition overall and sold as-is — this bike will need shop service before it is rideable. Frame paint shows scratches, chips, and decal crazing; the chain, freewheel, derailleurs, kickstand, brake hardware, and various fasteners show heavy surface rust and oxidation. Tires hold shape but will need air and likely replacement, and the drivetrain requires cleaning, lubrication, and tuning.
