Alan B. Carter Signed Photographs "Alhambra" & "Generalife, Granada, Spain," Pair
A pair of black-and-white photographs by Alan B. Carter, each depicting an architectural detail from Granada, Spain — one of the Moorish doorways and vine-draped wall of the Alhambra, the other a quiet bench tucked beneath cascading wisteria at the Generalife gardens. Both images are printed with a distinctive painterly black border that mimics the look of a hand-coated emulsion or liquid-light print, giving the edges a brushed, organic quality against the cream paper.
Each print is signed in pencil at the lower right and titled at the lower left in the artist's hand.
